Side Snapping Patchwork Fitted

The outside is some patchwork fabric I picked up at a thrift store. I made a skirt and had a little left, I wasn't sure what was worthy of such awesome fabric (yet so little of it) until I decided to sew up some fitted diapers.
The soaker layer is cut from an under the nile prefold. We had a flood a few months back and something must have happened to our water, because about 1/4 of our diapers ended up with holes in them after a few washes (following the flood). With huge holes they weren't very suitable for typical prefold use, but seeing as they're organic, they weren't cheap, and I really love them. So I wanted to find a way to give them new life....viola!
The inside layer is flannel from an old receiving blanket. I added some little star engraved snaps (reserved only for my favorite diapers :) and this little fitted was born!
