Side Snap University of Michigan Diaper

My husband is a huge university of Michigan fan. So when I ended up with an extra piece of Yellow PUL I knew just what to do with it. It is made using the Sew Darling AIO pattern that I altered to make into a pocket.
This was my first applique ever so I flew by the seat of my pants and it wasn't very hard after all.
I enlarged the "M" From plain computer type for a pattern and used a satin stitch (thick zigzag) to sew the "M" onto the diaper. I did this before sewing the pieces together.
For waterproofing I added an extra strip of pul inside the diaper just where the applique lays so it wouldn't be bulky.
There really isn't anything I don't like about this diaper. And my hubby loved it too, Even though he was always very reluctant to use cloth diapers.
