Handmade Pocket Diapers
This is a set of 8 pocket diapers I made for my new daughter. I put them together like a Fuzzi Bunz with a PUL outer layer, a wicking fleece inner layer, and a microfiber terry insert. I bought my fabrics from Wazoodle; they have sampler packs of PUL and wicking fleece which are perfect for diapers.
The pattern I used is based on Mama Bird's pattern online, but I modified it a bit in shape. I mostly used her directions and also found the pocket diaper tutorial at diapersewing.com helpful. This is the second set of diapers I've sewn, and the first ones since I got my snap press. I am now IN LOVE with my snap press and am so glad I invested in it. I prefer a snap diaper so much over a hook-and-loop-tape one! I am very happy with how these diapers fit-- no leaks & trim under clothes!
