Tshirt Made Into A Cloth Diaper

Tshirt Made Into A Cloth Diaper

I have been going through my clothes and getting rid of stuff that I will never be able to fit in again. I had thrown this shirt into the garage sale pile and my hubby found it and told me I couldn't sell it. He bought it for me when we first started going out -- I think for a birthday. I thought it was too small to make a diaper out of so I was just going to get rid of it. It was very, very challenging to get the pattern pinned and cut but, I was able to make two newborn fitteds.

The only cost involved in making these diapers was the soaker layer and the snaps. The t-shirt was going into the yard sale pile and the flannel pj's were already in the pile. So, all in all these diapers cost me about $1 each to make.

I used my own pattern that was drafted in size large when my son was a toddler and sized it down for these newborn fitteds.

My honey loves them and can't wait to use them come November!
