About Cloth Diapers Made Easy

Hi! My name is Lisa and I live in Colorado with my husband and our two children.

During my first pregnancy, I decided I would like to try cloth diapers. I tend to gravitate toward the more natural parenting stuff, so cloth diapers really appealed to me. I started out by buying some cheapo ones at Babies R Us, but they didn't work too well.

So, I stared poking around the internet wanting to learn more about cloth diapers.

When I went to look things up, I found it really overwhelming and intimidating!

There was just so much information all over the place! I was really confused and ended up just using the cheapo ones for awhile, eventually giving up and switching to disposables.

But, this didn't really feel right to me. I really wanted to use cloth diapers, so I kept on researching and ended up learning alot.

Over the past few years, I have gathered and collected lots of information about how to use cloth and all the different diapering systems out there. That information, I now pass on to you!

So why a website?

I just love the whole cloth diaper sub culture that is out there. I could look at online diaper stores for hours.

I have often thought about starting my own store because I am pretty passionate about people using cloth diapers. But, I have just never had that kind of money to invest in getting a store up and running.

A friend of mine actually did buy a successful online diaper store a couple of years ago, and I have to admit it made me a little jealous!

For awhile, I have been trying to find a way to work from home so that I can stay home with my children, but still be able to bring in income for our family. In my searching, I came across a website that was created by a stay at home mom just like me.

On her site, she talked about Site Build It (SBI), the company that helped her create her business. I thought, wow, I can do that! I like tinkering around on the computer, maybe I could start a website that will become my own little business? So I signed up!

SBI is so much more than just a website hosting company. It is really like taking a course in building a great online business. I have learned so much! They not only help you find a great topic to build a website around, they teach you how to bring traffic to your site and how to make money off of it!

And, the best thing is that anyone could do this, really! You only need a very basic understanding of how to use your computer. You don't need to know anything about programing, HTML, web design, etc. They will do all that stuff for you (or will help you to learn if you want to). All you need is something to be passionate about enough to write about it!

When I was getting started with SBI, I didn't think I would end up creating a site about cloth diapers (the very thing I had only wished I could start a business about)!
But here I am...working from home, sharing something with people that really matters to me!

I have found a (fun) way to stay home with my kiddos.

While I write this, my daughter is sleeping on my lap while my son is playing in another room. He keeps coming in to tell me a stories about pirates, trains and robots! Life is good.

Thanks for visiting, and Happy Diapering!

Lisa
